Leading recruitment consultants, NXT Recruitment has announced a call for the public to assist in determining the winner of the North West Family Business Employee of the Year 2023.
NXT has been providing support to the North West Family Business Awards since 2019. This year, they have shown their continued commitment by sponsoring the Employee of the Year Award 2023 and organising an exceptional ‘Meet the Judges Day’ event.
‘Meet the Judges Day’ took place on March 10th at the beautiful Rickerby Retreat in Carlisle. Finalists and their managers had the opportunity to meet with Emma, Jason, and Simon, who served as judges, to acknowledge their achievement in being shortlisted.
The event provided an excellent platform for participants to network, share their ideas, and acknowledge their achievements. Furthermore, the judges conducted interviews with the line managers to better understand the qualities and contributions of the nominees for this highly esteemed award.
Speaking about the Employee of the Year award, co-founder of NXT Recruitment, Jason Hodgson said:
“It’s a real privilege to sponsor the Employee of the Year award, something we have done for 5 years. We get to meet inspirational, humble and hardworking people and this award provides them with the recognition they deserve.
Everyone who makes it to the finals should be proud. People are vital to all businesses but for many family business owners, employees are actually part of the family. We’re delighted to be celebrating their hard work with them.”
Co-founders of the Family Business Community, Dave Clarkson & Sue Howorth said:
“The Employee of the Year award is a chance to recognise those who exceed expectations and inspire their colleagues to do the same. With the combined scores of our esteemed judges and the public vote, we will crown the winner of the highly coveted Employee of the Year Award 2023.
Don’t miss your chance to make a difference and show your support by visiting The North West Family Business Awards website before midday on May 14th and we hope you will join us on May 19th in the celebration of their incredible achievements.”
The Employee of the Year 2023 finalists are Andrew Kellet of R&D Kellet – Mill House Farm Pods, Julie White of Carrs Pastries, Kenzie Mancier of Laser Cutting Services, Leanne Allen of Arden Dies, Lucy Hussey of My Time Wellness, Olivia Doherty of The Plastic Bottles Company, Paula Berry of Aqueous Digital, Samuel Hutchinson of The Two Tubs and Sarah Procter of Country Village Inns.
